Our Story
Founded in 2003 by Marcus Bohm, a German water sports pioneer who made Cabarete his home more than three decades ago, Master of the Ocean was born from a simple vision: to unite the world's most versatile ocean athletes and help establish Cabarete as the capital of wind and waves. Today, it stands as the Caribbean's most iconic water sports event and the world's only five-discipline ocean challenge in a tropical setting.
